A good friend from college delivered a baby girl yesterday! Yay! Good day for motherhood!! But what I just realised is the fact that in exactly a year from now, the baby will start to talk! That my friends will be the time, when life will never be the same again.
The kid will call us 'AUNTY'!!!!!! The Horror. THE HORROR!!
I'm moving to greener pastures where they stick to first names :(
PS: See, this is exactly why you shouldn't get your girl child married the moment she graduates. And from now on, no more awwwww-ing at the sight of every little kid. They're evil.

that's why i love the 'bhayia' custom...goes along with almost anyone, even a 60 yr old uncle..it works..
hahahahahah...rofl....coincidence I dont know.....my friend was telling me the exact same thing today..well not -exact- but she was complaining that we were getting old very fast...I had to console her by telling her that its possible to bend time (spacetime) :P
They already call me uncle whenever they find me in trains or in other social settings. X( And they cry and poop and pee at will. And they don't let you sleep on flights. Or watch movies in movie halls. I hate kids. I hate them so bad.
ha ha :) My bro had a baby girl a couple of months back.. Whenever i'm around, in the baby talk, they introduce me to her as "chithappa".. damn! I totally agree with you!
