Okie now..I'm done with CAT which turned out to be a major CATastrophe..so what next?? Sit n prepare for the next upcoming exams..find a place for your ass somewhere else cuz obviously you're just not fit enough to grace the IIM campus..and why r u not fit enough..for the simple fact that the country is so bloody populated and 'you-know -who' eat half the seats..oh and then the luck factor..the LUCK factor is also there..you sit n slog n work ur ass off and your perfomance is well no less than crap and the guy next to you (who can't even calculate LCM of 2 numbers properly) scores way more than you!!!!!
Oh and now its time for 'shortlisting'..thats another trip in itself!!! Boy-o-boy you should see the umpteen ways in which they can reject you...some give you right on your face..'you are not selected for GD/PI'..and some 'empathasize' with you saying 'you did good and there's always a next time' bla bla bla..o am i forgetting the parents part of it..you try and believe that you would be able to do it next time and then there they are!!!!

Oh! For the love of God!!..we know we're in deep shit..so either just let us be there or help us come out..dont push us and make it more difficult..

hey. nice post. im on my way to 2 yrs of MBA in a college in mumbai. getting in thru the CET. its terrible wen parents taunt u. im feelin it right now coz i scored badly in the gdpi(damn em interviewers:P)
now we'll have to look out for edu loans, makes me feel even more guilty.money wasted eh? [:P]

the article comes down heavily on the rat race to earn an MBA .....which i feel is a welcome note ......although
i personally believe the author is right in condemning various aspects of the procedure the main pressure comes from the inner self rather than the false pressure created by the GD/PI or parental push..........One can certainly win if he balances his inner mind and heart........Parents are to be blamed as the author quotes for all the unwanted pressure created in the child's mind.....kudos to the author to highlight such an important issue
